Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentations

Please click here to download guidelines for preparing your PowerPoint presentation for the Congress.

All presentations must be dropped to the Speaker Ready room, Liffey Meeting Room 1, on Level 1.

Please note that the Convention Centre Dublin is a networked system and it is not possible for presenters to use their own hardware/laptops in any of the meeting rooms.

PowerPoint presentations should be supplied to the AV technician in the speaker ready room as soon as possible but a minimum of 24 hours before your presentation time.

Oral presentations 12 mins + 3 mins for Q&A (15 mins in total).

Please ensure your presentation does not exceed these time limits.

Poster Presentations

Each poster must be in PORTRAIT format, printed and should not be bigger than AO (0.841 m width x 1.189 m height/tall). The posters will be mounted on boards and Velcro adhesive will be provided. Any poster printed in landscape or larger than AO may not be displayed at the congress. We recommend that posters are printed on paper, as cloth does not sufficiently attach to the boards.

Poster presentations will take place in the Liffey Suite (Exhibition Hall) on Level 1 on Friday 26th, Saturday 27th, Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th July. Posters are displayed for one day only. Presenters have access to the Liffey Suite from 8.30am each morning and posters should be in place by the first coffee break at 10.45am.

Posters should remain in situ for the day and be removed at the end of the last coffee break at 16:45.
